RQF Level 6+ Occupation List

Which job roles will still meet the required skill level for a Skilled Worker visa after July 2025?

If you’re already on a Skilled Worker visa in a job below RQF Level 6, you’ll still be allowed to extend your visa, change employers, or take on extra work under the old rules. But if you’re applying from overseas or switching from a different visa category, the new rules will apply. That means your job must either be on the new temporary list or be at RQF Level 6 or above to qualify for sponsorship.
